Tasha, born April 6th 1996 is a rapper, singer and songwriter. She got the name Tasha from her daughter’s name, Tashley. She started writing poems at the age of 10 but got into writing rhymes in high school. She released her first song, FAR, in 2017 and a video thereafter. Tasha, having been raised by a single dad, was once a footballer although she doesn’t talk about it since there isn’t much success attached to it. She adopted some hardcore and tomboyish style that’s unmistakably felt in her music which made some people label her as “retarded”.
She has participated in several competitions including battles like the Dandora battle by DHC and the Mama Nai Jenga Nai 2017 by Hon. Shebesh and has made appearances on TV. When questioned about her sexuality, she prefers to keep it “as ya’ll see it”. She owes most of her success to Juliani, Dandora Hiphop City and Street Theatre Family. Tasha has done projects like FAR, MONEY, WOMAN, KOVU Refix and is working to release more projects before the year ends.
